Our annual and legacy programs include a competitive youth swim team, summer camp, the Gerrish Swim School, and numerous fun events throughout the summer, such as a concert series, County Fair Day, ping pong and basketball tournaments, and the infamous Cannonball Contest. Our most popular event is the weekly Saturday night “Dive-In Movie”, featuring a family-friendly film played on the a large screen, while members watch from a lounge area or floating in the pool. Movie night also includes offerings from our Concession Stand—freshly popped popcorn, movie candy, churros, ice-cream, pretzels, and more
Gerrish is happy to offer flexible food and beverage options. For those who wish to cook for themselves, the club has gas grills, member refrigerators and numerous open dining table areas. Since 2007, the Gerrish Grill has offered a full menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, pizza, and a terrific variety of snacks, desserts, and poolside treats. In the evenings, the fire pit is available for roasting S’mores. Guests can also order out and get meals delivered to the front desk of Gerrish.
Gerrish does not have a food and beverage minimum.
Gerrish features a fully trained and highly skilled lifeguard corps who are at the heart of all we do at the club. Each guard is Red Cross–certified and, unlike at many other swim facilities, our guards receive ongoing training throughout the season, including monthly day-long, in-service trainings; on-stand, real-time VATs (vigilance awareness tests); and daily performance management by a team of head guards, supervisors, and our aquatics director. Pools and slides are monitored at all times. Our commitment to safety is the utmost promise we make to all our members and guests.
